Rotch Teams with Female Executives to Share Insights at Auburn University’s Women’s Leadership Summit

BIRMINGHAM, AL May 27, 2010 — Darlene Rotch, founder and CEO of Panorama Public Relations, joined other business women today at Auburn University’s 2010 Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) to address issues, opportunities and trends women could encounter as they embark on a career.

The Leadership Summit is a five-day residential program designed to prepare a new generation of women leaders with vision and courage as they go on to participate effectively in the decision-making spheres of business, politics and varying professions.

Rotch will participate in a panel discussion comprised of other women business executives and entrepreneurs, including Melanie Barstad, president of M. W. Barstad & Associates; Faye S. Baggiano, PhD, founding member of Women Executives in State Government and Women Business Leaders; Karen Channell, business owner and Laura Young Palmer, senior vice president of SunTrust Bank.

"It is my privilege to join in such a discussion among future women leaders in business and politics," said Rotch. "It is a pleasure to support any program hosted by Auburn University and its Women's Leadership Institute."

Auburn’s WLI is a member of the national network of National Education for Women Leadership Institutes developed by The Center for American Women and Politics of Rutgers University. WLI contributes to the achievement of a truly representative democracy that will improve the lives of women, men and children in Alabama and beyond.
