Sonja has more than 20 years experience as an executive in corporate communications and public relations. As a communications specialist, she has led successful initiatives across numerous industries: manufacturing, engineering, construction, publishing, healthcare, information technology, insurance and non-profit.

Clients have included international companies on the Fortune 200 list, and she has managed high-profile accounts such as Belk, Inc., working on the clients’ behalf with national media and introducing successful PR strategies. Other clients include McWane, Inc., National Cement, Employment Screening Services, Dungan Nequette Architects, and Cottage Rental Agency of Seaside. Her work for McWane’s Casting for the Future magazine was nominated for a national PR Platinum Award, alongside Carpet One, McCain Foods and Toyota Motor Company, USA.

She is a Board Member of the Cahaba River Society and has participated in many professional and charitable organizations and associations:
