McWane, Inc.: Casting for the Future

Objective: McWane, Inc. engaged PPR as its public relations firm of record in 2004 to develop an integrated communications strategy for its 27 worldwide facilities.

Strategies: By defining McWane's key audiences and core messages for each audience, PPR has developed a suite of multilingual branded products, to include a suite of workforce-relation elements to communicate with McWane's 7,000 employees. Included in the suite is a quarterly newsletter, magazine and poster series. To maintain continuity, PPR applied the same messages to corporate marketing materials and a newly designed Web site.

Results: As a result of PPR's efforts, the 85-year-old company has begun a transformation to improve its community and industry profile through targeted communication efforts to key stakeholders.
