Our Team: Greater than the sum of our parts

Darlene E. Rotch: CEO / Founder (and Angler)
When Darlene sold her last business, she settled down. For, oh, about a day. Now, 10 years later, Darlene heads up Panorama PR and is a guiding force for passionately providing professional PR for our clients. Ideas are never a problem for Darlene; she calls herself a “serial entrepreneur.” In her spare time, she likes to fish at the lake on her farm. And yes, that’s her bass on the wall. You should have seen the one that got away.

Tommy Palladino: Director of Communications (and unoffical Czar of Technology)
It took Tommy three years, three interviews, several well-timed emails and a freelancing try-out before he finally landed a gig with Panorama Public Relations. We all agree that the wait was worth it. Tommy oversees accounts for clients in the construction, manufacturing and professional services sectors and has become our resident subject matter expert for environmental and workforce issues. In his free time, Tommy P. likes to hang with his family, run reasonable distances while listening to music at unreasonable volumes, or hit golf balls … into groups of trees, bodies of water or groups and bodies of other golfers. |

Joe Terry: Chief Strategist (and still deciding what he wants to be when he grows up)
As one of the, shall we say, “more experienced” members of the Panorama team, Joe is involved in the early stages of developing strategies and communications plans for our clients. Each has specific needs and unique target markets and Joe helps design, develop and implement both inside and outside of the box strategies that make our clients’ public relations efforts a success. A life-long native of Alabama, Joe has more than 30 years of broadcast production and journalism experience with three years of managing and coaching professional minor league baseball thrown in on the side. Oh, and he has also worked as a professional musician and still plays in a local Birmingham band. If he can’t remember the tune or lyric to a song he consults The Songstress…see above. full biojoe@prview.com |

Genevieve J. Douglass: Client Services Associate (and Lagniappe expert)
She’s no architect or fashion celebrity, but she works with a few high-end names in these industries. Genevieve handles media relations for her clients with design, fashion and general lifestyle media on a regional and national level. She leverages her relationships with the media to arrange editorial coverage for some of the most talented experts in each industry. Not only can she pitch a good story, but she can execute too. Genevieve organizes events and media tours for clients by coordinating all the details and preparations including promotional designs, venue selection, catering and entertainment arrangements and on-site management; she handles it all. A native of New Orleans, Genevieve has a true adoration and deep appreciation for art, and when she’s not working on her photography, she likes to relax by practicing yoga or reading and always values a nice glass of wine with family and friends. Her loveable dog Darby is a independent contractor for the firm. full biogenevieve@prview.com |

Darby Douglass: Acting as an independent contractor for the firm, Darby has become the mascot of Panorama. A true best friend to man and woman alike, the Panorama team knows that their favorite canine is working (mostly on Fridays) by the familiar sound of Darby’s gallop as she enters the building with Genevieve. Never one to utter a bark of complaint, Darby retains her calm demeanor (once she stops jumping straight up and down with excitement) throughout the work day, although she is never opposed to a trip outside or an outing in the car. Darby loves a day at the office because, in truth, she thinks she’s human and loves to be a part of Panorama. In her spare time, Darby loves to catch Frisbees in the Highlands dog park and play with her toys. Originally from Ft. Payne, Ala., she was rescued and adopted from the DeKalb County Humane Society in 2005. |

Jessica Williams: Client Service Associate (and most likely staff member to smile at PPR no matter the occasion)
Jessica wears many hats at Panorama. You can find her conducting research to develop strategies, generating media reports, creating media lists and editorial calendar timelines, pitching stories to the media, and assisting on all client accounts. Her organizational skills and methodical thinking make analyzing data and conducting research her main areas of expertise, although every now and then she stealthily reveals her knack for composition. Being relatively new to the Birmingham area, Jessica enjoys exploring the social hot-spots and natural outdoor beauty of the city. She’s currently learning to play tennis and devotes most of her time to her beloved nieces and nephew. full biojessica@prview.com |

Whether she’s working on strategy, tracking down a resource for a client, or locating the perfect place to host any kind of elegant affair, she’s ready, willing and able to execute. Michele Dickey: Client Service Associate (and rapid-fire researcher)
If there’s one thing Michele likes to do, its research. Day or night, Panorama staff will get information that, it seems only she can find. Michele also is a crackerjack writer and can turn a phrase with the best of them to communicate a message exactly. She’s assisted clients in communicating directly with their customers and takes a personal interest in resolving problems and issues successfully. We call her Michele one “L” in deference to how her name is spelled, and depend on her keen and thoughtful observances to keep our client satisfactions levels high.michele@prview.com |
